A civil ceremony is usually performed by a judge or other authorized official, takes
place in the judge´s chambers or at the courthouse and is quite informal. A simple
reception luncheon (or dinner) may immediately follow, or a larger one may be held the
following day. Private gardens, hotels, and clubs are among the more popular venues for
wedding receptions. Depending on the type of wedding ceremony, dress could range from
informal to very formal.
It should be noted here that many couples choose a destination wedding to only have a
symbolic ceremony; they have the "legal" one at home. Couples´wishes are personal and
unique to them. In any case, the role we play is of facilitator of your dream wedding
in a far-off place.
